a note from the host
This podcast focuses on more than simply covering the news; I will be discussing and analyzing how current events may reflect the prejudice and discrimination engrained in our society. In understanding and identifying cultural contexts, I have the opportunity to help others identify and perhaps unlearn these artificial constructs.
I work to ensure that I gather all information from a wide array of diverse sources that accurately portray all events & information. As humans we all carry inherent bias, some we may recognize, some we may not, so I ask that you listen to each podcast episode with an open-mind.
Any personal opinions I hold on a political or social issue are rooted in my belief that all humans should be treated equally regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or class, and that we live in a society that at times, upholds institutions violating these human rights.
